“ I got your companies name from the Golf Professional at our club. He said to trust him TourGreens would design and build the finest putting green I could imagine. I went ahead and got three other bids from competitors. I wish I had just saved the time and listened to our pro in the first place. My family and I are absolutely amazed at the end result; we were so impressed with the putting green we had you do the entire back yard in Synthetic Lawn Turf. Now our backyard looks like Augusta National, and the best part is I don’t even have to cut it, fertilize it, or water it. I would gladly recommend TourGreens to anyone ”

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. At what speed do TourGreens artificial putting greens roll?

A. Not all golf greens are created equal. The speed at which a ball rolls on the green can greatly affect a golfer's game. Golf green keepers face many challenges when attempting to establish consistent speed on the putting greens of their courses. Seeking a solution to these challenges, former amateur golfing champion, Edward Simpson, developed a device known as the Stimpmeter to accurately measure the speed of any given putting green. In 1978, the USGA adopted and modified the device, and it became accepted as a universal method for measuring green speed. Stimpmeter readings on golf courses in the United States generally range from 7 feet to 12 feet, depending on factors such as slope, contours, size of the green, and grass type.

TourGreens designs and installs residential putting greens that simulate real grass. The result is that a correlation exists between practicing on your personal putting green and taking your putting game to the golf course. An artificial putting green designed by TourGreens can be installed to roll at any speed desired. For best results, we recommend a "10" reading on a Stimpmeter.
